Amazing content but TERRIBLE design – Encyclopædia Britannica Review

I'm a librarian, so I take my reference materials seriously. I trust Britannica over any other encyclopedia, hands down. So, the idea of having it in my pocket is glorious. But here's the thing. The user interface of this app is TERRIBLE. To read an article you have to flip these weird cards, which is distracting. And the "tools" tab is just...THERE, hanging out on the left side of the screen, in the brightest possible color. It's the eyesore to end all eyesores. Please, for the love of humanity and knowledge, redesign this app from the ground up so it's actually usable. Because this is really important. Reading the old print volumes (RIP) was a wonderfully immersive experience. This just feels like trash.
