Fun but has issues – Ferris Mueller's Day Off Review

Fun game but I am towards the end and when I try to use an object to do something it doesn't work. ( the teddy bear and also the flower powder.)I can't get anywhere.. I looked up the hints and I am doing the right thing but nothing happens. Wonder if it's related to the iOS version I have. Anyway, I really liked Forever Lost so thought this would be fun, but frustrating now
