How do u jump?! – Hunger Games: Girl on Fire Review

Okay dont get me wrong, this is a really great game and all, but how do u jump? I mean, ill be running when suddenly the wasps throw little purple clouds at me, and i cant figure out how to jump out of the way! Like how do you go from the ground to the treees? Whenever i double click, slide my finger across the screen, or tilt the ipod, it just shoots! (Not really when i tilt it; it doesnt do anything when i do that...) but still, how do i jump up to the trees, or down to the ground?
