Target Audience: Zoombla was created as a math game for ages 8 and up. Students in grades 3 – 6 can hone their math skills while older students in grades 7 - 12 can review their math facts in preparation for Algebra classes. This game also has uses for adults who want to practice their math facts, help their children, or increase life long memory skills.
Teacher Notes: Teachers are advised to use this as either a stand alone tutor type product for drill and practice or as a game that two or more students can play by rounds. When playing in groups students need to share answers per round (stop after beep) and keep score of games won by lowest moves and most operands used. A designated pen and paper score keeper is necessary for this application of game.
Parents: Parents can also play this game with their children or have their children play it in groups so that they are practicing their math skills through trial and error, reinforcement, and clever mastery of the application of basic arithmetic.
Records: The game records the most recent games played so that teachers, parents, and players can review recent work and progress.
Versions: The current version was only created for iOS 7 which is targeted for the iPhone but can run on an iPad. There are additional versions in development and suggestions and comments are welcome.
