Can’t login

The usual optimist

I keep getting looped and sent to the “magic link”, then after I sign-in, I am still not logged into my profile on the app. I’d recommend updating that. For now, I’m deleting the app. It was just a waste of my time.

Worst algorithms for job suggestions

I’m a nurse-midwife and OBGYN NP and get THE WORST job suggestions and recruitment emails daily from Zip Recruiter. Examples of related job suggestions: truck driver, podiatrist, chiropractor, medical assistant, psychiatric NP, respiratory therapist, etc. I want to like Zip Recruiter... but the job suggestions and daily emails from supposed job hunters saying I’d be a good fit are simply baffling and absolutely frustrating!

I have found and get employed by couple good companies thru this app. I get fast communication from recruiters. You just need to prepare one resume, and then easily send it couple times to different company's position’s.

Update: I moved this up to four stars because the app does work well, and it’s easy to apply. I will inquire with the developer on ways to filter out some of the job fields (cdl, hvac) that seem to totally dominate the job listings in my area.

The app is completely useless for searching for a job. Search results are not even close and are completely irrelevant to what you search for. You get better results using a web browser on the computer.

It won't let me sign in????

I got this app to further search for job offers. However, I am stuck on the sign in screen. I put in my email and it sends me a "magic link" that signs me in through the BROWSER version, not the APP. I tried to do the "enter password instead" option. But here's the problem: I didn't make a password for this application yet. So I tap the "forgot password" button, and it says it just sent me another magic link! I don't know if that's how this app is supposed to work, but at this point- I've just about given up on trying.
