App usually works for a few weeks then always crashes. Don’t log in with Facebook and it may help

I think Zip Poll USA is a good one on the Apple App Store. It is useful.

Say you can pick your categories but you still get others you don’t ask for. Leftest Jerks flood the site with same questions in different format but same answer. Questions get flagged with out reason.

The app is fun and interesting. I wish they showed the total number of respondents and those who swipe up to skip a question but other than that it is great. The results in the political section, however, will make liberal tears flow like it was 2016.

I already loved Zip but now the addition of earning points makes me want to get on there everyday. I actually learn about trending news first on the app. The users are ahead of the mass media on current events. It’s also cool to see how people feel about what’s happening in the world. Politics is a strong category as it is in our daily lives so I feel informed after using the app. Thanks Zip!

I have had and used this app from the beginning and love it, but now with the points system it’s even more addicting. I’m excited to get enough points for prizes. And with the new website I can gain a more in-depth understanding of the topics I vote on. The web site provides a new and much more entertaining way to get the news while it’s hot. Although I am not extreme in my political opinions, I do lean left and often feel outnumbered on Zip. Not sure why that is but it’s not a deterrent for me. It will be interesting to see if and how that changes as time goes on.

The app has a very clear problem, which is it is IMPOSSIBLE to get 100%. You ask a question with 2 possible answers & it starts out 50/50. Well, that’s mathematically impossible. This simply compounds the problem as people begin voting. Another bad feature is you don’t know how many people voted. There could have been only 2 or 100 or even 1k. In a world where counting views is big, Zip fails miserably here. As for the many comments on here about conservatives viewpoints...that’s simply not the case. I have read plenty of political questions with left-leaning answers. So I would not use that as an indicator. The big one—the stats are ALL bad.

Logged in via Facebook the first time using the app. Answered a couple questions and couldn’t stand that I wasn’t able to see the current trend and had to wait until it was “settled” to see any results. The next day, I tried opening the app and it asked me to sign in even though it showed I was logged in via Facebook. So, whatever, tried to use my email and the app crashed. Tried to reopen it and it kept crashing. Instantly deleted. App is trash.

Cool idea but that app is poorly optimized(crashes, bugs etc). That data is useless as you don’t know the survey size of each poll. I read reviews about the conservative thing and thought it can’t be that bad. But it’s true, a majority of political polls are disproportionately right leaning. If it was a diverse pool of users, I would probably use it but it’s just annoying constantly answering cornering right leaning questions. Maybe you will like it, I mean it’s free so why not try. I however will probably forget about this app in three days from now.

They let any question push through from users. Majority are conservative white males. I am one of those but these ? Are ridiculous. Waste of time. This could be good app if the questions were screened.
