I signed up to this using my phone number and picked a plan. I also got people to use my Magic Word (basically referral code) and I started asking tutors how to do math equations. I’d like to say that it’s very helpful and now I understand my math. Thanks!

Finals are around the corner and my daughter has been struggling with Calc since the beginning of the school year. I did a search on the app store and saw Yup had some good reviews. So I gave it a shot. Wasn’t cheap but my brother enrolled his daughter in a tutoring program last year and he ended up paying way more, so it was attractive compared to that price. First problem my daughter submitted she didn’t start on at all. The app asks if you’ve started or worked on a similar problem so I was expecting the tutor to be prepared. The tutor actually was prepared and did a good job explaining the concepts and helping my daughter work through the problem on her own. I was relieved that the tutor actually taught instead of just providing the answer and forcing her to make all the connections on their own. 5 stars for that. She was getting along with the tutor and I could tell she didn’t feel stressed out about her problem set anymore. Second problem was with a different tutor. This new tutor used some tools I didn’t know Yup had which ended up being useful. The first tool was a whiteboard, which was nice because Calculus involves some graphing. The tutor’s drawing wasn’t a work of art but it was clear and much faster than typing a whole explanation out. Another tool was a star that came up. I think my daughter was showing she was trying and so the tutor gave her a star. My daughter lit up and it helped her get through the rest of the problem. Overall I thought the two tutors were worth the price assuming my daughter uses the service consistently, which I think she will based on the first two problems she worked on.

What a great app that meets an in demand need! I love how it caters to students , teachers, and parents. You can easily snap a photo of a problem to send in order to get help. I wish I had this back when I was in school. This also helps with accessibility to tutoring as this service is more affordable and online. Highly recommend!

Even though you have to pay for it but this app is completely worth it! Excellent app Passionately built for students who want to get through their assignments or just want to get on top of the class. So useful to me! It helps me with all my math and stuff like that.
