Like the tracing can’t get the volume on? Not working have phone turned up it’s working on all other apps I’ve turned it up on the phone it’s self and also on the app not sure what’s wrong.

Cute app, but misleading description

This app is cute and well done, but I regret purchasing it and feel misled. It says that it teaches letter names and sounds which is what I was looking for. I didn’t want to pay for a tracing app...you can get those for free. There is no teaching letter sounds. This is strictly a tracing app so the description needs to be changed.

Perfect for learning letters and writing! My 5-year-old son loves the engaging sounds and graphics both of the snowflake and caterpillar. A great idea to reward kids with a mini-game! The kaleidoscope game with a snowflake is my youngest favourite while the eldest likes making butterflies.

So easy to use and so much fun for kids! Love the “easy” mode and mini-games! For me as a parent it is important that the kid has individual letter order and can practice only “hard” letters.

Yum Yum Letters is a great way to encourage your child to engage in repeated practice for production of alphabet letters, in order to foster beginning handwriting skills. This app presents short, guided learning tasks with a clean graphic layout and fun mini games to enhance learning. Great for use at school or home! I love the colorful artwork and the friendly narrator! The app offers great value now and in the future, too, as it will be updated with additional learning tasks and games! Recommended!

Great that kids can choose different themes! My daughter loves writing and playing with a snowflake while the son prefers the caterpillar. Both characters make such funny sounds! Nice that I can make different settings for each child! "Easy" mode for the youngest and "regular" for the 5-year-old. Lowercase for the daughter would be a great addition.

Great "special needs friendly" handwriting app!

I love how customizable the app is and that a lot of thought went into making it "special needs friendly" (options to toggle off sound effects, music & voiceovers separately from each other, an "easy" mode that doesn't fade the cues, option to set how much tracing work has to be done before playing a mini game, an icon that shows how close you are to getting the mini game, option to set time limits on the mini games or toggle them off, etc.). Love the vivid full screen graphics & friendly voiceovers. I had the opportunity to beta test this app so it is cool to see the final product and love working with app developers who are genuinely open to feedback.

This is a super cute way for kids to learn their letters, both identifying and learning to write. The snowflake side is adorable as we loved designing them. Our favorite was the hungry caterpillar that turns into a beautiful butterfly. It is engaging and the graphics are gorgeous. I love that the kids learn a couple letters and then have a little fun. Keeps them wanting to learn.

Yum Yum Letters will have your students or children immersed in a game-like experience, while they are practicing letter recognition and handwriting skills! Kids can choose from two fun environments to play in. They can use their finger to scratch ice away from a freezing surface as they write, or they can lead a hungry caterpillar along lines to form letters. Each environment has its own reward game, and the frequency of which can be set in the secured parents section. In the frozen section, kids will be enticed to keep playing with a rewarding snowflake activity. In the other section, children will love making creative butteries that come to life! Parents can also choose the font. The HWT font is offered, which is great for kids who have fine motor delays, as well as very young children. Also, the app offers an easy mode, which is ideal for some kids with special needs, as well as a setting for the frequency of the reward games, and a very detailed report for up to 30 students. You will not be disappointed by this app. Kids will be engaged and learning the entire time. The charming graphics and inviting music complement the learning experience. I highly recommend this app for younger kids and those with special needs.
