- Chore List – helps them keep track of what they need to do to earn their allowance
- Activity View – shows them what they’ve earned and spent, including details about each activity
- Wish List – helps them compare the cost of things they are saving for and track how much progress they’ve made
Yuby is a great way to start the conversation…Since you retain control of virtual Yuby deposits and withdrawals, it’s a great opportunity to engage your child in conversations about the value of earning money, saving up for special purchases – and even earmarking money for charity.
Try out Yuby today and make this the start of your child’s financial education.
A good starting app but should have more functionality such as: • Synching across all shared devices • Chore completion radio buttons • Expanded wish list for short term, long term, and charity savings • Advanced features to all for payment of "interest" or "matching" of long term saving to encourage kids to save.
Is there a way to utilize this app for 2 different children, and if so, how? I have 2 daughters & this app would be great for BOTH of them to be able to use, but I can't find anywhere within the app, the option off adding another child. PLEASE HELP!!! 3 stars for a great idea, but would be 5 stars if I could have 2 kid profiles, so they both can use the app. They won't be happy kiddos if only 1 of them gets to use it!
I was really excited to find a cross-platform app like this for my kids. That is...until I discovered that each app only supports 1 child. I have 3 kids which would mean setting up Yuby separately on each device. The chore set up is okay but kids have access to add and delete chores and no way to check off the chores that have been completed. Guess I'll keep looking for now.
Pretty fun, colorful app that makes it interesting for kids to learn basic personal finance. Early exposure to stuff like this may make a difference for kid down the line. More features would be awesome, well done though
Great app to teach kids money management. No online account necessary. Just a simple calculator with parental approval. My 12 year old son loves it and we finally stay on top of allowance payments.
This is a solid app that helps teach kids about managing money. The UI is easy on the eyes and not too cluttered making it easy for younger kids to navigate. There’s just enough functionality here to track how kids earn, spend and share with charities. The one feature that would differentiate your app from the others I’ve tried is an export to CSV for your ledger. This would be very helpful for doing a deeper dive into the spend/save/share activity. I want to be able to show my kids where their money goes in aggregate over time. As it stands, all the apps out there (including Yuby) only allow the user to scroll manually through a chronologically sorted list from within the app. Otherwise, nice work and thanks for accepting user feedback!
