Embarrassed & Dissapointed

I was very excited about this app. I thought it was a great way for my students to become comfortable with iPad technology. It was a great activity and an app for them to be able to practice snapping photos, editing, adding text, changing font, using photo filters, etc. The app is labeled as being for ages 4+, so I thought for sure that it would be appropriate. I wouldn't even expect a simple app such as this to have any inappropriate content. I planned to use this app for an activity for my 1st and 2nd graders to do with their grandparents for grandparents' day! The students were so excited. Unfortunately, in the middle of the 1st grade activity, one of the grandparents brought to my attention that she came across a picture frame option on the first page that was labeled big, front and center with the word SEX. I was not only a bit embarrassed, but also extremely disappointed and upset by this. Having this frame is completely unnecessary and inappropriate. This needs to be removed immediately, or the rating should not read for 4+. Now I have to delete this app on every iPad in the computer lab and find another.

I can make any plain picture in to a masterpiece with this app! It's awesome to do a before and after picture side by side with this app and so much more! I love it because it allows me to be creative! Really neat!
