Doesn't follow the rules of the game.

This app does not enforce the actual rules of chess. Namely, the threefold repetition rule. On my second match I'm stuck repeating the same move over and over. Both players are stuck with the choice to resign or make a bad move. Literally, we have repeated positions 15 times with no end in sight. I don't know how this is a "chess app" yet doesn't follow the actual rules of the game. Very poor.

This app is really good and a good way to play chess with friends. But when I am playing against the computer after a few moves the computer player stops playing please help I don't know what to do.

I'm not a hardcore chess player and this app is pretty satisfying. A few sounds are there, the board and pieces are clear enough. My idea for improving it would be to offer alternate pieces and boards, either by earning or buying them. The same board starts to lose appeal after a bit. And I wish players that I start a game with would just play. It's ridiculous to start a game with someone and not have them ever make a move, forcing you to resign and lose points or keep those names listed on your play list. Any update should allow you to keep your points if you resign ONLY when your opponent has never made a move.

So your computer cheats and when there down to there last piece it calls a tie or I looses. And when the computer logs of of the game 7 days will roll by and the game disappears...... Fix this game.

My king can't capture crap. I tried to capture the computer's queen with my king but it wouldn't work. So I thought it worked both ways... NOPE!!! I also snuck up on a bishop with my king, and in any normal game I totally could have taken it, but it wouldn't let me. It seriously irks me.
Need a timer option

I am not interested in playing 1 game days on end unless that is what I want to day. However when I am interested in playing a quick game in my free time, seems like every random game takes days to end. Without an option for a timer, this game becomes very annoying quickly... Even after purchasing the app, I am 1 game away from deleting it. ???
