Clean and Easy

I love this for it's simplicity. All I want to do is check the day's most popular videos and search for videos on a subject or posted by a particular user. This lets me do all of that without even logging in, and lets me send the link to another app if I want to share it. The independent volume control at the bottom of the video screen is especially useful for vids that are unusually soft or loud, and it doesn't muck up the system volume. I don't want or need all kinds of bells and whistles. This app is simple, clean, easy, just right.

This app is not the same as it used to be. At this rate I don't even want to keep using this app anymore, its just been sitting on my ipad. Lately I prefer the actual YouTube app now since I can link it to my Blu-ray and watch to my hearts content. Bye forever.

Great app. I have Youtube Red already, but I wanted an app that let me to watch full screen videos without the annoying black bezels on my iPad, and this was the only app on App Store I found and has this feature.
Glitchy with headphones

When ever I have my headphones in, if I slightly jiggle the cord my video will stop, and I'll have to click the play button again to start it back up. It doesn't do this with any other apps, INCLUDING the actually good YouTube app, (I like YouPlayer's format and style better, that's why I have it) so I know it's a problem with YouPlayer, not my headphones. Honestly, it's just such crappy quality. Constantly having to play your video makes having this app a lot more annoying.
Useful for older models but they need to update it a bit

What the heck happened to make it stop updating, I can't login it's so out of date and now I'm out the premium fee. Get with it guys update it but keep the backwards compatibility we have come to enjoy about it.

Seems like Google forced this app to remove its background play capability, but that's the only thing it had going for it.
