Horrible, large ads at the top totally ruin this. This is for kids!! Good grief - always asking for our location and like others, when my child sees a duck image, they touch it; not knowing iris an ad. Application will be deleted.

I read a great review of Young Painter, so decided to get it for my 1st generation iPod. When I tried installing it, it said it would only work with the most recent version of iPod software. I checked for updates and I do have the latest version. I'm very disappointed that this is unusable on my iPod. I was going to test it and recommend it for the younger members of the family. I have a number of budding artists that would have enjoyed such a fully-functioned art application.

It's well ok. I crashes a lot like when I come back to a painting and also it dose not make that good art.

Bad just like the title, first off all you can't save your creation without the bs color bored and ad getting in the way major flaw. Then it's just really good and fun but not enough color's. No enough brush styles. But over all one star it's no the worst app ever not worth buying though.

Controlling the brush and the smoothness of the strokes is pretty good, compared too other painting apps. The actual brush needs to be calibrated to where your actually pointing, instead it's a little lower and to the right. The colors need to be adjusted. Yellow is like a baby barf green and the orange is more of a red orange. Adding a brown would be nice too. The actual usable canvas is only like half of the screen, maybe a /little/ more. I think this app has potential but needs to be vastly improved.
