Anytime I wanna watch something beyond random, the only way to figure out where it will be playing is Yidio. Whatever app it’s on, yidio will find it. Also just fun as a movie/tv fan

I’m using the iPhone app. I’m disappointed. At first I was pleasantly surprised. I entered in some movie titles those of which I knew providers offered - just to test the apps accuracy. It did moderately well and reported back of lists of providers and costs. (Although “VUDU Free” should read “VUDU Free with ads” if Yidio wants to claim to offer good and thorough info.). But then I searched some TV Shows. The app WILL NOT TELL ME which service has which TV show. I entered Breaking Bad expecting it to tell me “Netflix free for subscribers” along with other services that might offer that show. No luck. The app only shows a list of episodes and an ad for Yidio premium. AND the ad has a fake “X” in the upper right corner of the ad that’s doesn’t close the ad but brings up the nag screen to upgrade to a subscription to Yidio. IOW, they are trying to trick the user. That’s nasty. I expect this from unscrupulous, thieves behind Chinese websites. I am disappointed that Yidio would stoop to such embarrassing tactics. I couldn’t get a list of providers for any TV shows I entered. I’ll check out their desktop or web app (if available) and iPad app to see if I can glean info about TV shows another time. But for iPhone app, I can only give 2 stars which is being fairly generous on my part. The movie Day of the Triffids didn’t show up as free on Popcornflix via this app. So they need to broaden their list of services.

It’s changed my life. No more searching Netflix queue, HBO, Hulu.. everything I need all in one app.

Needs to zero out watched shows and have the next one ready to go.

Dear Yidio developer, the app overall is great but it will be much better if it had a chromecast option available which would make it perfect.

There's so much streaming content now and I know of no other way to make watchlist with content from all the apps together in one place. On iOS it even opens the correct app to play it immediately upon selection. Yidio app is not on Apple TV unfortunately but it’s still way better to use on mobile for reference then search on ATV because Apple can’t combine titles from all apps in one list, especially those jerky holdouts at Netflix (which also has the worst interface on ATV imaginable, iOS not much better - oh how they stink, including their horrible algorithms and menus which steer you towards the same limited content over and over. Recommended similar titles on Yidio are also superior than inside Netflix in part because they are cross-platform and not shoving Netflix originals in your face ad nauseam - which is also a drawback with Hulu and Amazon though they are less obnoxious about it.) Also great for searching titles for what services any show or movie is on - if it’s one you have or want to purchase from, add to watchlist and done. Lastly it’s awesome they have online access to organize on lap/desktop browser as quickly as possible - I hate when apps don’t have that and as far as I know Apple TV doesn’t either. (If they do they sure keep it a secret. Maybe it’s in a new one since they split up iTunes.). Searching for titles and adding to watch list is so fast and easy, it leaves all similar processes in the dust. Thanks Yidio for untangling the proprietary function mess!

I wanted a place to see all the streaming I already have and pay for in one place so I don't have to search each site individually. This had that option but there are no options too filter by MPAA rating and really it is pretty slow. I can usually search in all the other apps faster. I'll still use this and hope it improves.
