Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yowie, Yeti... whatever you call them, you know what they are, and you're probably aware that they steal food, such as a pie cooling on a windowsill.
Yeti Pie is the adventure the stolen pies take through the forest. Play by yourself to relax, or sign in to Game Center and out-pie your friends.
I challenge you to find another game on the App Store where you can have yetis/squatches/big foots tossing pizzas, pumpkins, footballs and more to each other. You can't, can you? Buy this game NOW. It's hilarious and also fun and did I mention relaxing with its way too good soundtrack? Yeti Pie is an absurdist delight, like a Dali painting in a sea of Monets.
It's so easy to get into the zone playing this game. It's relaxing to focus on making good pizza tosses. Those haunting yeti eyes really speak to me. They get me. They... What? What's that? You... You want me to play some more? You got it, Mr. Yeti. Edit: to the reviewer who complains there isn't enough room on the screen to throw the pie - it's drag anywhere. Start dragging from center screen.
The throwing physics are bad. Concept is funny. I'd play it again with a few upgrades.
…and based on a true(?) story. Yeti Pie is absurd and delightful and beautiful and fun, which is an unusual combination. The game has desert golfing (or irascible avians) style controls, and the goal is simple: convey the pie from one yeti to another, avoiding obstacles. Yeti Pie is oddly relaxing and has a wonderful soundtrack.
At first it's fun to figure out the way it works. By accident I learned that you can fire off from the right side - making it much easier and accurate. Once you do, it very repetitive with no change in challenge level but you can't quit. There is excellent classical music playing in the background. The scenes are hauntingly beautiful. Just an easy , brainless fun thing.
