If you're even the slightest bit apprehensive about becoming a Yeti, please read my review. I came across some online local news coverage. I downloaded the app, signed up, pins dropped on my gps guided app, and that was it. I had a blast working non stop for almost 4 days. The apps developer was a text message away to answer any questions I had. The disclaimers may say that you'll wait 7-10 days for payment. I signed up on the 10th and my first deposit was on the 13th. I am so happy I decided to seize this opportunity. It's a great concept. If you're a diligent, hard working, responsible individual, I encourage you to sign up now. Download and get familiar with the app. Then keep your eye on the weather ;)

Great customer service! That's the separation between a good company and a great company. The vehicle was shoveled out, they did a great job. A brilliant concept for the company. I was traveling yesterday and my wife was home alone with our 5 week old daughter. Knowing that the car was shoved out, in case of an emergency, really gave me piece of mind.

Used this app last winter, and even though we had a mild winter, l seized opportunities to shovel out some cars via Yeti. Word of advice, pack a portable charger for your phone. You will need your phone.

I think the service has some real potential. I have not participated as a shoveler or requester yet but have been viewing after this recent storm. The most painful part is actually have it to manually type in credentials every time you open the app. This really needs to be fixed— credentialed should be remembered for a period of time, or even just enabling touch recognition would be an okay stop gap. I would be much more likely to look for jobs in my area if it were easier to open and view the options.
