The Money Pit version of Yahtzee

This is basically a casino game, but not really because in a Casino, we can occasionally have a few minutes of feeling rich with a big prize, but here, all you get is a bunch of requests to spend more money. Neither casino games nor this Yahtzee game provide a “Win”, but at least in a casino you get a drink and cheep food. Also, during most of the game, you get four out of five dice you need, and the number you need shows a little bit longer than it should before BLAM! it mysteriously lands on the wrong number, prompting an advertisement for “free” rolls, which means paying for more dice or watching an ad. Oh yeah, and PAYING for your “free” roll by watching an ad, right after you spend $5 to stop the ads. UUUUGGGGGGGG! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? How about a regular game of Yahtzee, without the mumbo-jumbo. In review: 1. the graphics are obnoxious and interfere with the game, 2. the amount of money the game demands for play is THE definition of “Money Pit”. 3. I would not recommend this “game” to anyone.

I really like this game, but the ads make me want to uninstall. I’m afraid to press a star for a rating because I’m a little bit blinded by all the ads. I get it, you make money this way, but is there any way to have the ads come up less frequently? Like after every 5 plays instead of 2? I might be inclined to buy at some point because if I love to play a game, I’ll pay at some point, but right now I close the app when ads come up, lay my phone down, turn he screen over, eat lunch, and maybe dinner come back and the ads is still running. Ughhhhh. I can’t even really see if I like the game because I keep seeing this scary dog looking throng, now you have old battles from the 1800s playing, click 3 or press me, and so many more games that I feel nauseas afterwards. I can’t. Too many aggravating ads...just way too many, and make this so bad. I hardly EVER leave a review, but I’m compelled because I’m bothered by all the images ingrained in my head with these ... I can’t say it, ads. STOP IT so I can see if I like this game. Please ??

This is a great, entertaining game. But, they have increased the number of ads they throw in front of you to the point of being ridiculous. No longer worth the time to play.

It’s fairly obvious how horribly rigged the Showdowns are. They constantly give the opponent multiple yatchzees, and unless you spend money on extra roles, you have no hope of beating. I’ve been playing consistently for a while now, and have yet to beat one unless - SURPRISE - I buy more rolls, and then all of the sudden they start losing. It’s just kinda ridiculous and doesn’t make me want to invest money in the game. There are other minor issues, but that’s my biggest gripe.

This is terrible. To win any showdown or tournament you MUST buy extra bonus rolls. You don’t BUY you will not WIN!

Very disappointed. The challenges are ridiculous. I have played them multiple times daily and NEVER win! I will be in the lead and the last 2 plays the game gets a Yahtzee both plays, EVERY time. I can’t win enough tokens to use the dice claw in all the challenges I have played. This game is more aggravating than fun. Purchasing extra dice is so overpriced. It isn’t worth it.

Rolling dice is supposed to be random and in no way rigged, right? The strategy comes in the application of your rolls to the board. Well, forget about it. Whatever you may need is exactly what you WON’T get. I can understand if they want to pit you against incredibly lucky AI opponents, but even in the pvp modes it’s obvious that there’s no Random Number Generator in play; the game gives you what it wants to give you. For example, if you need 4s and 5s to complete the top section, you can be sure that all you’ll get will be ones, 2s, 3s, and 6s for the next six rolls, or no more than two of anything. It’s clearly rigged to get you to pay for bonus rolls. I’m getting some notepads and pens so my girl and I can play the game the way it should be played, with real dice.
