Freezes after first stage is completed (on iPad Air)

I was enjoying this game until I scored three or more stars on all 30 levels of the first stage and discovered that clicking on the icon for the first level of the second stage would freeze the game. I haven’t been able to play either the second or third stages because of this apparent bug. When the developer fixes this I will raise my rating to at least four stars for this review. (It would be nice if an info button explained what is needed in order to progress to the second stage).
