Fantastic!!

This game is as good as it gets. Great graphics and smooth gameplay. Puzzles are difficult yet can be solved with creative thinking. I highly recommend all 4 versions. Worth the cost!

Fix the iOS app

Downloaded to iPad and game stopped working. Please fix. Love these games.

Another great chapter, but beware

I do love these XON games, they are like what Myst was, casual, puzzling, wonderful worlds to explore, where you couldn't really fail with enough patience and ingenuity and thinking about it. There is a place in this chapter where you can stumble into a trap (of your own making) and have to abandon your game and start a new game. Be careful out there.

Awesome again!

I loved Xon 1-3 and was so happy to find 4. I enjoyed the challenge and scenery of Xon 3 the best, but Xon 4 is a close second. I love the smooth navigation using thumbsticks and the natural graphics. No problems on my iPad Air 2 iOS 9.3.3. Exploring just for the fun of it never gets dull. I even scaled some rocks and squished behind the ivy growing against the rock formations. What fun!

Dang! I really enjoyed Episodes 2 & 3, and was definitely looking forward to Episode 4. Well, the graphics and ambience were just as good, but I was sadly disappointed in the puzzles. They were darn near impossible to solve, and even after solving them (after using the walkthrough), most still did not make sense. This last episode was just not fun.

Another solid chapter

A solid showing, though with a slightly different flavor. While in the previous chapters many puzzles were self contained, this time there's a much more requirement to carry knowledge from one part of the map to the other. Thankfully there's a screenshot feature built in, but unfortunately it does not save them if the app quits. Puzzles are solid and logical with one significant exception involving an extra layer of reordering of symbols.

Bought w/o hesitation! (I'll UPDATE this after playing)

I absolutely, positively, 100% LOVE XON Episodes 1,2 & 3. They have always been incredibly mysterious to me as there is absolutely NO information regarding the developer/programmer, they've always just kind of materialized out of nowhere....and they are so.....FANTASTIC....and VAST!!! (#2 & #3) I have countless other point-and-click-puzzle-adventure games that I rotate through constantly, and this week had a hunger for XON1,2,3 again, and INCREDIBLY, out of the blue I got a tug on my "gaming cosmic umbilical" just now...and I decided to go look in the AppStore, which I haven't muddled through for many months. I JUST NOW YELLED AND JUMPED OUT OF MY CHAIR WHEN I SAW THAT THERE WAS AN EPISODE FOUR!!! It is going to be a long, FUN evening now!! (I should point out that I NEVER pay a dime for ANY game WITHOUT READING THE REVIEWS FIRST!) Well...In THIS case, I didn't. The split-second that my eyes spotted the XON4 picture, I couldn't purchase it fast enough! ...Then I decided to check out the VERY few reviews. I really hope that the puzzles are not so difficult and illogical that it requires going to WALKTHROUGHS in order to complete them. What's the point of that? It's the same as trying to solve a crossword puzzle in a foreign language that you barely know, and having to peek at the solution to fill in the puzzle-solutions just to finish it. That's supposed to be fun? Also...the comment regarding the possibility of me getting STUCK permanently in a trap of my own creation kind of turns me off. (That's a huge no-no in puzzle-adventure games, by the way, Mr. Noam Kahalani....never good to program them like that.) OTHERWISE, YOUR XON GAMES ARE INCREDIBLE AND I HOPE YOU MAKE M A N Y MORE GAMES!!!!! Excellent work on 1,2,3. I will UPDATE THIS REVIEW after playing Episode Four. In the meantime, I am giving this game FIVE STARS, simply because of your past work and the HOURS OF GREAT ENJOYMENT that you've given me! Thanks, Noam! GlennBurch@gmail

Once again, well done.

If you want a new Myst-like experience, this series is one of the best!

Captivating

Just finished playing XON 4 and have to say it was one of the best games I've ever played. I was skeptical at first considering the reviews that said the puzzles were so complicated that I would have to use walk-throughs to finish. I mean, what's the point in that? I was able to finish the game over a couple of weeks all on my own. I think the only requirement for doing so is patience and fully immersing oneself in the game environment. Everything you need to complete the game is readily available. I tend to approach these "Myst"-like games by imagining that I am truly there and have no outside help. Isn't that the whole point? If you want a game that really tests your ability to think things through, XON 4 is awesome. I like the fact that sometimes I would have to sleep on it and wake up in the morning with some new ideas about how to approach the next chapter. I like the way it became an alternate world that I was temporarily living in for a couple of weeks. I like the way it stretched my brain out and challenged me. I highly recommend this game for those who are ready to take on the challenge of turning a mysterious world into something you know like the back of your hand. BTW, I've never written a review for a game before...I just felt compelled to share my experience and thank the developers for a fascinating experience.
