Best Chinese chess app!

I have purchased and tested every xiangqi app available and this one is the best combination of well designed interface and strong AI available. My only request would be to add the ability to set up a position. Great work!
Good value game

Game has basic features but strong AI. The piece movement is not animated like other games, making the game play not as refined or smooth. But it is good value when price is factored in.

這款中國象棋遊戲可堪稱是目前app store上最好品質的遊戲, 可是有許多小地方需要修改如: 1.倒棋時完全沒有特效,亦沒有通知,使用者要自行察覺 2.可捉摸的電腦AI如:AI在等級2時,總喜歡砲吃相,將軍抽砲 3.在兩位玩家對奕時,建議將對手(也就是黑棋)國字轉向,以方便對手判讀 我在mobile01看到介紹才來買的,也期待著暗棋,加油!

When I move the piece, it sounds twice. I really think the first sound is not necessary. For the hint option, I don't think you need to really move it. You can just show the arrow or line where it suggests to move because the player may have different thinking.

Likes: Large chess piece. Simple interface. Strong AI. Switch settings in mid game. Fast graphics. No observable bugs. Could improve by adding: Easier levels. I couldn't even win level 1. Library of classic battles. Good deal at 99 cents. I tried the $3.99 game before this one. It closes itself randomly, and broke Internet connection.
Game is great and worth the price

However I wish clicking on the lightbulb at the bottom will be like a hint button where it would suggest you to move instead of moving it for you. Also at the end of a game it the back button is dissapointingly disabled so you cannot replay the game. I also wish that there was a forward button in addition to the back button.

Me and my friend can't beat it even at level 2. This software should worth 29.99 and so far there is no bug.
Good but room for improvement

The computer vs. computer is almost useless it runs so fast, usually people use this mode to learn and improve skills from it, if it can pause after each move that would be great and help the player a lot, hope to see this feature in next update.
Not bad but stands improvement

This game is ok for it's price. But it will be 10 times or 100 times better if it has smart hint function. Therefore Chinese chess learner has a chance to better his skill and not losing frequently. I don't think anyone enjoy losing. By the way, just as a different point of view, the international chess app(西洋棋 app) is doing very good on this(smart hint function which provides fabulous recommendation), and player can always improve his skill. I believe in Chinese chess, we can do the same thing.
