I follow local news with several apps. This one used to be better. 1) starting up gets a full page ad that has to be x-clicked before seeing anything. 2) after last update, the notification count on the icon won't clear. It just keeps counting. I have turned off notifications and it disappears but as soon as I turn them back on, there's the count again. Maybe next update will fix it and I can raise the rating again.

This app continues to be one of the worst I've used. The navigation is terrible, the organization of stories is haphazard at best, and trying to watch the TV at the same time as the broadcast is completely impossible. The ads come through fine, then the video either freezes, or I'm told to come back later. Complete amateur hour.

This app used to work just fine but ever since you started updating it, it's gone completely downhill. My biggest and most annoying problem is that I can't scroll down in an article. It just glitches. Usually I can catch it after playing with it but it shouldn't take me 5 minutes. Please fix!! I don't want to delete the app and read the web version but I will if it's easier than this. Also, I only gave one star rating because I have to rate it ??

BUMP. I wrote this below too long ago to remember and it's still not fixed. Anyone awake in there?! Jittery, bad reload, and just ready to be scrapped. Who made this news app?! Worst I've seen in forever.

This app...so many issues. It's always freezing, articles don't load, sometimes it gets stuck on the opening screen. If I want to read an article, I typically have to close the app and remove it from the previously used apps list to reset it so it will work. It crashes, and when advertisements appear, rather than offset articles offscreen, it offsets articles onscreen, so that one either taps on the ad or the wrong article. Needs a major update.

I would love to be able to customize the notifications I receive. Road closures in towns 45 minutes from me are not push notification appropriate for me.

The WWLP app is good but I cannot stand the advertisements when reading the articles because it interrupts me to see the ad. Without the ad on the news article, it would look clean and smooth reading. Please get rid of the ads.
