Beautiful software, BUT needs ability to duplicate tasks

UPDATE: Cannot hide or delete the inbox yet??? I get it that it's integral to the functionality, but there are a lot of power users who don't use it. So 1 star docked for after 3 years still not able to hide Inbox, and another 1/2 star docked for the app being too flat, and another 1/2 star docked for not being able to duplicate a task. 1/2 star gained for keeping the original beautiful wood-grain background! A "TOMORROW" automatic list would be extremely useful!! UPDATE: Ok, my first review wasn't entirely fair beacuse of the 2 year delay on the ability to copy-and-paste tasks. I'm still pretty peeved about it, but I want to give them some MAJOR props too. I've broken this down into pros and cons. PROS: BEAUTIFUL INTERFACE!! In a world where "flat" is mainstream, Wunderlist is staying true to the 2.5D or skeuomorphic look. You know, when things actually look like the thing they are supposed to do so there is no confusion. I hate flat, and this is not flat at all. It looks great and I just like looking at it. EASY TO USE: Good ole user friendliness. Simple and easyt to use. Data entry is a cinch, making and moving lists is a chinch. SYNC: Amazingly accurate, fast, and FREE sync and back up!! CONS: NO COPY-AND-PASTE FOR TASKS, NO "DUPLICATE" COMMAND: This thing is not for "power users" AT ALL. ONE OF THE SECRETS TO SUCCESS IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. When serving clients or doing whatever busines you do, you need the ability to DUPLICATE your task and make TEMPLATES. This is for personal, la de da use only. The request for the duplicate (a copy and paste really) feature was put in almost 2 years ago and nothing has been done yet. In a nutshell... This software is drop dead gorgeous, skeuomorphic, and easy to use, and syncs/backups very well, BUT IT DESPERATELY NEEDS THE ABILITY TO DUPLICATE TASKS (and their respective sub tasks).

I wish I can just pull up a calendar and select the date from there to set a to do. Aside from that it’s the best free organizer out there.

I have several task apps and some I paid for and got premium or pro version. Looked a long time tried many this app really fits in to all my needs and syncs among all my device and works very well. It is not just simply a task managing app but much more and simply the BEST!!! I do recommend it highly!!! UPDATE 2/13/18: Still LOVE this app! Can make all kind of lists and have them available no matter the device and can share with my wife. Very easy to learn and use. Like I said in my original review. SIMPLY THE BEST AND WORTH ANY PRICE!!! Been using for a long time and still recommend highly.
Can’t Open Without Account

The Privacy Policy says that you can use without signing up, but that is a lie. You have to sign up before you can even access the app - so they can track you and sell your data. I’d rather just pay for the app and avoid getting spied on, but that doesn’t appear to be an option because you can’t even get into the app without creating an account. Which means that even if you pay for it, they’re going to be spying on you and selling your data. Seems very unwise to use this app for anything remotely confidential.

Would love to see this app expand to allow for a calendar to toggle to/from when adding tasks. Please consider this for ease of use. Please continue upgrading with Apple IOS Upgrades. Other than that, works good for simple lists of to-do’s and recurring tasks.

This is my first day using this app, and I’ve already decided to upgrade to the paid version. For a guy like me who is very busy it is great for staying organized. I will use it in every aspect of my life: Work, family, & church. Great app.
Almost Perfect App

I love Wunderlist and use it for my small business. Attaching files, messaging features and the ability to make group lists with others is great. Two features it is missing: 1. There needs to be an ability to set pop up alert. Myself and my team all have to set separate alerts in another app which is a pain. 2. The occurrence of a task needs to be more customizable. For instance I have a task I do every Tuesday and Friday. Because Wunderlist is not set to perform this reoccurrence I have to have the same task set twice. Besides these two issues, it is a great, reliable task app that I have been using for almost three years now.
