Bad update

This local weather app has always been my favorite-- up until the last week or two. Something has been changed. The app now runs very slowly and I end up getting stuck having to watch an ad to see the radar. It makes me sad; if this isn't updated soon, I suspect I will be forced to move on and find another weather app. Please WTVA -- fix this! I am willing to pay!

I unfortunately updated this app recently. I hate this app now. I'm only giving it 1 star because no stars is not an option. Ads are rampant. My phone freezes when scrolling any page, and after about 30 seconds an ad pops up. Then when I try to close the ad my phone freezes again as I repeatedly try to tap the little x. Eventually I just close it. Guess it's time to search for a new weather app.
Weather “Alert” For Nice Weather

Uninstalled after receiving a weather “alert” saying it was going to be cool for Friday night football. Not a tornado or flash flood, just “cool”. Ridiculous. WTVA, you can do better than this.
Subscription Model Needed

A yearly subscription to ad free weather and news would fix everything about this app (news app too). Otherwise, nobody wants to use this garbage.

It's like they don't know what's happening one hour to the next. Said 10% rain for today and ended up being 100% all of a sudden. Get it together wtva folks!

I have rated the last several versions of the WTVA Weather app with 1 Star because the ads were overwhelming and myriad other reasons. For what it’s worth, I rate it 4 Stars now. In previous versions the ads would load before any other information. Now, when an alert notification comes in I can open the app and see the alert immediately without having to wait for a stupid advertisement first. So yeah, thanks for providing an app that is far more reliable than it has been for the last 2 1/2 to 3 years.
