I'll start this review by saying I really liked the old app. That being said I want to explain what I dislike about the update. First I dislike that I have to click so many times to find he info I need. The small boxes that house the info just don't give me the info easily and truthfully are hard to see unless you click into it. Multi clicks trying to find info take up a lot of time, I truly liked the way the old app opened to a full radar with info running down the bottom. Second there are just too many places to try to figure out where to find the info I want. It's very clunky for me. Third, I enabled push but with an advisory in place, it didn't push to my phone. So that is a disappointment. While this app was my go to for weather, I find myself going to other apps to get right to the info I need. Basically this version has a lot of visual fluff that's not really needed, and will send you to many screens for info that were once easy to get to.
Not liking the spinning carousel...

The list of features in carousel form is a bit over designed. There is nothing clean about the ergonomics of the application.

Could you update the app to let me know when lightning is at least 7 miles away instead of just 5 miles?
Great Weather App/Bad Warnings

Great app for weather. I love the whole weather team at WSFA. I do not like the lightning warning for strikes that are 5 miles away. At 2am I have woken up several times to a man warning me about lightning. It does not matter if my phone is set to silent or not. With so many warnings, people will get to ignore these and not listen when it's something serious like a tornado warning.
USED to be friendly. BAD move on the changes.

The new format is undesirable. I'm going to try and use this new format but I am definitely not please with any of the changes. Dump the ads!!

Annoying ads, silly navigation

Takes longer to get to where you can view the weather than any app I've ever used. Navigation makes you flip through a group of screens to get to each section. It's too bad because the weather info is good. They seem to care more about ad views than customers though.

Received false alerts, I suspect with the only purpose of opening the app and reading the ad. Deleted.

This app is ok at best. The radar feature itself is good but the whole thing is unusable due to it crashing every time I open it. My advice is stick with more reliable weather apps until WSFA gets it act together.
