Fun

Makes writing fun rather than a chore. Let's me use my imagination & helps to get the gears in my brain moving.

Great, but more randomness

Syrensongs

I love this app, but sometimes I wish the prompts would be more abstract. Sometimes I don't want a concrete idea to start with, I just want a bizarre or abstract statement to get me thinking. "No publicity is bad publicity", or "loneliness is unbuttered toast". Random quotes from people could be handy in this aspect.

Love this app

AngelMame

When I need something to get my creative juices flowing this app really works. I don't always take the full ideas but sometimes what inspires me from them.

Could be better

The tool isn't as inspirational as I was hoping it would be, but it does help generate some ideas. In future versions, it would be nice to see moods, time, and characters in their own separate categories. I also would like the option to create my own folder and save my own inspirational quotes, ideas or images for future reference. The notepad isn't very useful as it exists right now.

Terrible

Dakota99

I thought it was a cool app, until after writing a story from the prompt it closed out and lost all my work. Will not use this to write anything again. I spent over 2 hours writing...and no save no nothing..just closed down. If you are a writer...don't write too much in the program...you could lose everything! Like I did. No warning, no nothing...just GONE!

Fun!

I love words, this app helps you get in touch with your muse :)

Very helpful for freestyle writing

This app helps me gain ideas and ways to find inspiration in my daily life. I prefer this app over most of the other writing ones that I have. I email the prompts to myself and copy/paste them into a separate app that is specifically for writing, so I do not worry about losing anything. It has helped me write a few stories so far and I feel great!
