Exactly The App I Needed

I have friends and acquaintances all over the world and knowing when it's a good time to call/Skype/Facetime/Hangouts meant adding up hours ahead or subtracting backwards was tedious. This app lets me set times for cities in the desired zones and saves me all that. Friends appreciate not being awakend.

I had to write this review - Finally found a World Timer that does what it supposed to do and do it extremely well! 1-Very intuitive - no fussing how to use it. 2-Easy to add countries (the search engine goes by COUNTRY, not city - then you select the city. 3-A vast selection of country/cities with their time zones. 4-Allows you to look at your current time and compare other time zones, AND it also allows you to set (and label) an alternate time(s) as well. 5-It provides the DATE (time of day as well of course) and the difference (+|-) in hours. 6-Choice of analog or digital reads in an easy-to-read interface. All this being said, you might think that this app has all the features it obviously should have. However, I tested many of these type apps and they were all lacking some vital feature, some were downright horrible. Got rid of all of them, but this one... the definitive app! BRAVO - 5 stars!!!

I just loaded this app and all ready want to remove it. While you can pick the cities you want the background map does not change from the default maps. If go into just the map mode the cities are shown but the clocks shown there are grouped together below the map which isn’t useful. I am looking for a better app.
