Needs UI upgrade

Christopher S Lewis

While I was using this app for a bit, I'm starting to see some things that are "outaded" in the user interface. Although the app itself is good, the UI looked like iOS 10 still on my device. If I have one request for you, please create a better interfece with rounded icons, and add support for the iOS/iPadOS 13 public beta. Hope that helps!

Beautiful and functional

Working Copy is the most intuitive and flexible git client I have used on any platform.

The best app on my iPad

Title says it all. I’ve never seen a more fully-featured app for what it does. I have a website on Github Pages, and with Working Copy I can work on it completely on my iPad. I pretty much never even need to leave the app. Every time I discover a new feature I didn’t know about, I’m blown away. This app can preview html documents in a webview while properly pulling in external files (something even the native files app struggles with), and *then* it can open up a port on the device so that I can test my code on my desktop computer just by typing in a url. This stuff is super specific to writing a website, and I’m amazed that it works and works so well. Serious kudos to the developer for making a single app that encompasses my entire git workflow.

VSC Lite on iOS.

I have only scratched the surface of this app and I seriously am very impressed! I also do not review many apps (I certainly can count on one hand how many times I've done so), but this is one time it's warranted. The ability to push-pull from a remote repository allows me to pick up my work on whatever device I happen to have on hand - even if they're not mine. Before, I never would've thought that statement could include the iOS environment but this app has changed all that. Now I can do HTML/CSS/Javascript on my iPad Pro - and preview it real time, to boot! I can also make adjustments to my backend code in C++/Python or whatever else and upload to my repository for compiling later. Totally a life saver when your laptop is out of juice :P. PS. If this app had a way to SSH into a Linux environment/Raspberry PI so I could compile my code via command line I would never code on anything but my iPad!

Exactly what I needed.

Not only can you quickly navigate a repo but the SSH sync is super fast and elegant. Everything is logged and it’s easy to figure out why something isn’t working the way you expected to. Well worth every dollar!

Best thing ever

This is amazing! I love being able to see and edit my code anywhere

Can't be easier

I had the app, my GitHub username, and the password. In 30 seconds I'd been issued a key pair and cloned a repo. A minute later I committed and pushed a revision to an HTML file (which the app rendered so I could check the edit). If you have a remote repository and half an hour's study of Git, you're productive.

Excellent App & Dev Support

SamuelLab

Love the app and had a question about accessing the pro features using the GitHub Student pack, developer responded to an email within a few hours with a solution.

Great implementation

I’m using Azure Pipelines and a small static host to run a Jekyll blog and this is a smooth way to do quick jots to a local branch and then update from my phone. The Git automation in Azure takes it from there and publishes for me.
