Weird... In a good way?

I finally "finished" the game, and it had some pretty funny moments. The only thing I didn't like was the "ending"... I brought 3m gold to the Workmon Welfare place and was met by the Welfare group, who then asked me to donate the money. After donating all of it I realized I was still 1m short of re-building the place. So I gained 1m (a half an hour later) and donated all the money to the charity. What was my reward? 18 out of my 24 employees resigned to go work there... Albeit this is a touching ending, but still somewhat depressing because I can't play the game anymore due to a lack of employees... And if I hire more they'll just leave anyway...
