Bad dictionary. Very limited dictionary. Did not know simple words like: your, zap. Needs to be better.
Disappointed in the 'dictionary'. Simple words such a 'tree' and 'two' come up saying "not in dictionary"...never mind most 6 & 7 letter words. I'm an expert scrabble® player, so this is very disappointing. I like to try out the 'lite' versions before buying full versions. Not so sure I'll be getting the full one...can't trust the dictionary...
I'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about, maybe they were using an older version or something, but I find the dictionary to be very complete. I'm really wasting a lot of time playing this... which isn't completely bad.
Update: dictionary has been •greatly• Improved. Now it lives up to it's potential and is quite enjoyable. See how fair I am by updating my original review? :-) --------------------------------- Twig, thug, wilt, etc. These are simple words this game does NOT recognize. A word game that doesn't know the simplest words is useless and unplayable. Shame as the game could have been reasonably enjoyable. The author should have used -some- kind dictionary as " you never get a second chance to make a first impression". :-/
The poor dictionary is one problem. It also gives you the same letters over and over, such as "j", "v", and "x.". Actually rather boring.
Race against the clock makes it a fast paced game plus easy to handle on the iPhone. Really enjoyable.
One of my favorite games. Ever since I updated to iOS8 I am unable to play the game because it iss not centered, it appears in the upper right hand portion of the screen. Youd don't get t osee all of the letters. I really hope this problem can be fixed.
I'd have never updated to new iPhone if I knew I wouldn't be able to play Wordsmith anymore! Please update or someone recommend a replacement please!
