I'm an occupational therapist - looking for a good word search to work on tracking/perceptual skills. So the word search itself is lovely. Big letters, easy to track, no problem. I thought the pictures along side are a great idea - lots of my students have no idea what the words actually are, and we have to look them up frequently - having pictures would solve that. BUT - you must buy the names of the words! Problem 1: even if a child knows what something is, they don't necessarily have any idea how to spell it and therefore can't find it in the puzzle. Problem 2: Some of the words are pretty obscure. You get a bunch of vague ones: lion, cat, etc. Then you come across a blue bird but you need to find the word "sparrow" instead. Preposterous. Problem 3: if you start at the end of a word and draw your line back to the beginning, it won't tick off. You must do it in order instead. Just a bit nitpicky. I'll keep looking for something more user friendly, but I hope the company finds a simple fix here by being a little more generous.
