American English version: TWL06 word list, 178.691 words.
As an extra the word lists SOWPODS (International English list), ENABLE, OSPD, WWF and CWL are also included, and separately searchable. (More than 275.000 words in total.)
New is the "Test word" option: test if a word exists, and find words with missing letters. You can use this to see if there are words that would fit a game situation, and which letters you would need. Also handy to find 2-letter combinations. Use a single dot for one missing letter, an @ sign for more. Also usable for crossword puzzles.
No internet connection is required, this App will still help you when you are travelling.
Has iOS7 user interface if you use iOS7, but still has the old user interface if you use iOS6.
The app needs to be updated. It’s missing a lot of words that are now accepted in WWF and Scrabble
I have several word finder programs. From all of them I find this one to be the best. It's quick, and can be set for other word games beside Wordfeud, and gives several options on helping to find words.
Does not miss a word, freeze, or force close. Ease to use. Great app!
Packed full of useful features. Quick lookup of two letter, three letter , etc. Works well with Words by Post.
I used to love "CheckWords" with MakeWords feature, and it still has some simple charm, if only it hadn't been removed from App Store. Next best was the insanely powerful and elegant "Zarf", with ability to chain multiple filters or operations, but complex to express many common needs. Until... WordsFinder is near-perfect mix of power and simplicity (kinda). Makes words exploration fast and flexible.
