Word Wow is a word game where you make words to dig deeper into the ground. As you dig down, Worm will follow until you can guide him to the bottom before time runs out. You need to be able to make words quickly to string together bonuses, as well as just to clear the path.
If you find Worm to be stuck and you can't come up with any words, you can use a bomb to clear some of the tiles. You have a limited number of bombs, but you can earn more as you make more words. As Worm moves down the board, more letters become available.
Some levels have a hidden gem behind one of the tiles, and if you can find all the gems in all the levels of a world, a bonus level is opened where you can really rack up the points!
The bigger the words that you can make the more points you'll earn. Try and make enough points each level to earn all three stars.
Word Wow will sharpen your brain as well as your reflexes. Help a worm out!

The original Bookworm was my all time favorite and I reviewed and contacted the developer in vain I thought! I’m uncertain if this new version is by the same developer but this version is awesome and I can’t give enough thumbs up and praise! Thank you, thank you!!

I’m really not sure what to think. I deleted this paid app from my devices when I started a game and noticed the name of my town and state prominently displayed, in proper order, on the tiles. Until then, I found the game addictive. It did seem to use up the battery pretty quickly.

the game needs more challenges and the bombs on the bottom right needs to be moved elsewhere. Every time I try to drag the bomb up, the iPhone wants to swipe the game up as if I’m going to close the game or switch to another app.

Even the paid version of Word Wow is rigged to make you buy “bombs” to clear letters that are useless. You quickly use up consonants and are left with nothing but vowels unless you pay more. Disappointing. I bought this for a 90 year old parent, but I can see that she would quickly become discouraged with this game.

Word game lovers, this is THE game for you! You can play for a few minutes or a few hours. It's fun and challenging to play anywhere at any time. The backgrounds for each level are adorable and the worm depends on your success to free him. :) They replied very fast to a quick email question I had. Donkeysoft has several other versions of Word Wow as well as many more fun games. I'm very pleased that I found their games.

This game will worm its way into your gaming heart! Fun and challenging w/o being frustrating. People have complained abt. only being able to play 10 levels for free but this gives you enough of an idea if you should purchase it. A suggestion I have is to buy the bundle for $1 more. You get three games (Word Wow, Worditz, and Orbing, which is a puzzle game) for $3.99. I would act quickly as they may not continue to offer this special very long. Try the free versions of the other two games if you'd like but for $1 more, I don't think you have anything to lose. I love word games so if I bought just the two word games separately, it would still be $5.98. Enjoy!
