Please bring back the original Bookworm from Popcap. It was the absolute best. I miss the game.

Bookworm was so much better.

This game is too easy and the way of accumulating points is not clear or well explained. Bookworm was more challenging, gave word meanings and you could clearly see your point progression. All in all, a much more satisfying game. Wish it had just been updated instead of this poor substitute.

This isn’t any form of bookworm. Played on android and purchased New Mac. Now I have to buy another computer to play other version. So disappointed.

Great concept, moderate delivery

This game is positively addicting. The timer transforms this game from an elementary word search into a strategy game. The higher your level, the longer the screen gets. The longer the screen, the more you’re forced to concentrate on the directness of the paths you make. You also have to plan ahead for the use of future vowels, which are not always in abundance. I give it four stars because the game’s vocabulary isn’t great. Strangely, it recognizes crass terms for parts of the female anatomy, but, won’t accept the word “winsome.” It accepts three letter words only found in cross-words, but not “Caucasian.” A minor complaint, but, a frustration.

Loved the old Bookworm.

Considerably less enthusiastic about current incarnation. Probably won't bothering paying anything - not worth it. Would pay $20 for the old Bookworm and feel it was well worth it. Shrug. Thanks for saving me money.

There are no instructions. Moreover, the point system is extremely confusing. For example, on current game, I played some extraordinarily long words, used all but 2 M’s, no bombs and no 3 letter words. I watched my score go from 48k to 120k (bonus points for 3 letter words I didn’t use) and then dropped to 60k for no known reason. At the very least the point system should be explained so I can figure out how some one keeps showing scores at 180k.
