Can't see the score on iPhone XR

Was perfect until I upgraded phone from 7 Plus to XR and now I can't see the score of the game at the top of the screen. Help??
LOVED this game until....

I absolutely LOVED this game, UNTIL it was ruined with the 1 minute wait for the bots to play their turns. I enjoyed it so much because I could play against the bots in a FAST game. But, no more. ? WHY did you add this annoyance to what WAS the perfect 5 star game?!?!?!?

I can’t give anything higher than a three that doesn’t allow you to sign up for an account without getting over your privacy of Facebook. Plus every time I sign in I get on some woman’s account in England. My daughter asked me to play and I responded to her request. I have deleted the app several times and every time I logon I end up on some woman’s account.

It keeps freezing. I can’t seem to get on this app and play words without it skipping and freezing each time. This needs to be fixed.
