We took the game you guys played for hours on end to a whole new level: adding different features and modes that will surely make word game fans go head over heels with excitement! So if you've played Scramble, Text Twist, Jumbline, or Word Warp, let's see if you can handle Word Warp Xtreme!
If you've never played Word Warp before, it's an anagram type of word game where you try and form as many words as you can out of the letters given to you before time runs out. You score points for each correct word you are able to form, but you can only advance to the next level if you construct a word that uses all the letters given to you.
Stuck? Fret not! Use the Warp Button to rearrange the letters to see if you can spot some new words. Still stuck? Warp again! There is also an option in the settings that allows you to change the allotted game time to give yourself more time, or lower it to make the game more challenging!
Once a level is completed, a list of all the possible words is revealed and you can tap any of the words to see its definition.

Our brand new Xtreme mode will surely have you guys and girls thinking! In this mode, we give you a series of six and seven letter words jumbled up. Your goal is to unscramble all these words before time runs out! Get them all and move onto the next level!! Stumped? Warp the letters! Still stuck? Wait for clues! Don't wait too long...the clock is ticking down! Xtreme!!

Sure, playing Word Warp Xtreme by yourself is terrific fun, but how much more Xtreme would it be if you could play with a friend?
The Play and Pass mode lets you complete a puzzle and then pass your device to a friend and see if he/she can beat your score! Xtreme!!
Our exciting Head to Head feature lets you use Bluetooth to link your devices together. Once connected, play against your friend on the same puzzle at the same time! Xtreme!!

Report it to us! Once the level is done and you see all the words, if you see a word you think shouldn't be there or if you think there is a word that should be included, there is a button to let us know your issue! Simply push the button, type the word, and send it to us. We will carefully review it! Xtreme!!
This version of Word Warp Xtreme in the App Store is ad-supported. However, you have the option within the game to upgrade to an ad-free version.

Please update for iOS 11. I absolutely love Word warp but now that I have a new iPad I can no longer play it because it needs to updated.

My iPhone and iPad both automatically updated today and now I’m unable to enjoy my favorite “thinking” game. Are plans in the works to update the app to be compatible? Such a shocker!!

Love Word Warp Extreme - but it’s not compatible with iOS 11 - so I can’t play any longer. Please, please, please update the app.

I've had the original one for years and was hesitant to upgrade to iOS 11 because I got a message that it was not compatible, but now I see there is a new version. I still enjoy it but the ads are really annoying. They come on after every game. I would pay to be rid of them if there were a way to get rid of them. There is a variation of this game by a different vendor. I like this one better, but the ads may drive me to the other. Would rate higher except for the ads.

Since downloading WWext, it changed the Word Warp settings and now can't see my score on WW. Disappointing, how bout fixing the "update" or better yet, leave it alone!

If you can decide not to take your score as a matter of life and death, you'll have a glorious time playing this game. Ok, it's not perfect, but the minor snafus are easy to ignore if you don't take yourself too seriously. Yes, it'll disallow a word you're sure is a good one now and then. And it allows some very obscure ones. No big deal. I've never had it crash, after many years of play. Someday I'd like to be able to know how many times I have left to End a game -- which fills in whatever words I couldn't figure out -- before it finishes out the current score. But don't let these VERY minor flaws deprive you of all the fun you'll have. Just keep your sense of humor and enjoy.
Archaic is, by definition obscure

The latest versions of Word Warp depend upon obscure, usually archaic, words to increase difficulty. The game is sufficiently challenging and entertaining that it doesn't need to depend on such devices.

"Head to head" never finds opponents, even after purchasing the paid version. Fun game, and would be five stars if this bug was fixed.
