Word Search Free provides the classic word search puzzle or word finder game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Unlike other word search or word finder games in the store, Word Search Free doesn't have a limited set of pre-canned puzzles. Word Search Free can generate virtually an unlimited number of puzzles, and it generates a unique puzzle every time. And the number of words is not limited to a half dozen like some of the free applications, or even 16 like some paid applications. Word Search Free puts as many words as it can from the category you choose into the puzzle. Many times over 30 words in a 11x12 grid! What a challenge! Word Search Free puzzles are fun, provide many levels of difficulty, and are a great way to pass the time and improve your vocabulary.
To play Word Search Free, find the hidden words in the puzzle and swipe them with your finger. Hidden words can appear in any orientation - up, down, left, right, or diagonally - and in either direction, forward or backward. In a word search puzzle, words can overlap so that a letter can be part of two or more words. If you have trouble finding words, simply tap the "Words" button and reduce the level of difficulty on the puzzle to get more clues. Finally, if you just can't find one or more words, tap the "Solution" button and all the words in the puzzle will be revealed. Once all words are selected, you win!
Also, Word Search Free doesn't interfere with your music so you can listen while you play.

I did enjoy this app until you changed it to try to sell me something and gather information about me between screens. Therefore I deleted it. You ruined a good app. Insult to injury. We should now pay 99 to get rid of the bs ads. Your greed has overrun your ethics

I used to really enjoy playing this app, but now the level of advertising that disrupts and distracts from the game play is intolerable. I'm deleting this piece of CrApp...

The game itself is really nice. I understand it's free so advertising is needed but the advertisements are so extreme. Fully covering the screen and not letting you skip them. My advice to potiential downloaders. Find another word search the advertisements make this one impossible to enjoy.

...but the ads when you check the word list take too long and are very memory intensive. I find myself never playing any more. Too bad, really. Another great app ruined.

It's pretty good for a free game!!I took the last star away cause it is a pain trying to highlight the words!!Every time I highlight the word it didn't always work even though I spelled it correctly!!

I love that you can choose the category, unlike other games. A lot to choose from and you can play a bunch of times and still not get a repeat puzzle. The adds are annoying but that's what you get for free. Definately worth the FREE pricetag.
