A fun yet challenging game

I've been trying to reduce my electronic attachments some so I got rid of the other games on my phone and downloaded word ladder in their place after coming across it elsewhere, and I don't regret it one bit! Occasionally you'll come across obscure words but that's part of the fun, learning new things. Word ladder has already been a big hit with family and friends looking for new(ish) entertainment.

Ads block play mid game

The current problem is that in the middle of a game, with well over 1.5-2 minutes left on the timer, an ad will pop up over your game. Adds used to pop up at the end of the game; now they might pop up after entering only five clues.On the iPhone there is no way to reduce the ad because the keyboard, which covers it, cannot be reduced. The only thing to do is to quit the game and start again as turning the screen doesn't allow you to press continue. This happens every other game. This glitch needs to be fixed; no point in playing game that you can never complete. Prior to this, I enjoyed this game for quite a long time; why would I pay for game pack that can't be played?

Too many ads

When pop up ads appear while in the middle of a puzzle I think it's time to stop playing. It was bad enough when the ads appeared so I couldn't see the correct answers without a 15 second commercial. The popup even appeared when I was trying to send feedback and covered the send button. Please fix.

Ads are ridiculous

Open the app, immediately get bombarded with 6 ads. While playing, I get interrupted by 4 ads. Then an ad at the end. This has ruined the game.

Deleted this app almost immediately. You can't even make it through one game without the ads popping up and getting in the way. Awful.

This used to be great but now there are ads. At least give me an option to buy it without the ads. I now know all the products I don't want to buy! They play over and over and right in the middle of typing an answer one pops up. Sporcle you have sold out!

Current update takes me to App Store when I open it

For some reason, whenever I go to open the app, it bounces me to the App Store. It won't let me Actually stay in the app to play.

Ads ruined it.

It's not worth it.

I can't even open and get to the game without ads popping up now. Deleted.

I used to play everyday but now I can't even get through one game without the App Store opening every 3 seconds! Its obnoxious.

Ads aren't worth it

App used to be great until the ads. It's free, so I understand that there will be ads. But not to the extent where they interrupt the game or take me to the App Store automatically without clicking anything. Shame, it was fun but fun enough to outweigh the annoying ads.
