I gave 3 stars* because the concept is good, but there are too many flaws. The ads are bothersome, but I won’t spend money to remove them until the game is better. A huge annoyance is that often the Daily Game will not finish. I have it completed, but it just sits there so I lose my 25 point bonus. Another irritation is that it makes you repeat levels you’ve already done, and you have to do them to advance. The credit you get for guessing valid words that are not in the puzzle is ridiculously random. Sometimes you get credit and sometimes you can try four or five valid words in a row and get no credit. I don’t worry about the score, I just like to work through levels, but I can see why the apparently random scoring annoys some people. The best thing about this game is that your growing crossword puzzle actually serves as its own hint. I enjoy the challenge of finding as many words as I can, which is the only reason I keep playing it. I just updated the game and there is a brand new feature I really HATE! Certain words you find make a frosty frame around the edge of the screen and it vibrates. Absolutely pointless and so distracting! I figured out that making a wrong guess will turn it off, but I shouldn’t have to swipe in two random letters to remove such an irritating feature. However, the update might have fixed the Daily Play problem; time will tell. Hate to say, but the developers seem to be going backwards with this update. *I just lowered my rating again! The last update went way backwards and the game is so annoying now. In addition to what I already said, now when you have one last word to do, the squares keep blinking—totally distracting! I don’t like the path, and they made it hard to find the Daily Awakening. When you complete a puzzle, the blinking and flying flower is just a time-consuming irritation. Really not sure how long I’ll keep playing.

Not at all the game that the annoying ad demonstrates. It shows a crossword type board. You swipe a word and it disappears. Then the remaining letters drop down. More like a word search. What I am now deleting is totally different. And boring.

So if you make words fast enough then you get more points but if you mess up or forget a word then it stops with the "speed round". It’s ok not the best but not not terrible. I like it enough to keep playing.

It is a fun word game. Nice graphics. Occasionally it has frozen on me so I have to start over.
