Calculate wind chill temperature by simply selecting the air temperature and wind speed using the familiar "jog wheel". The calculated wind chill temperature is displayed "on the fly".
Temperatures may be displayed as either Celsius or Fahrenheit, and wind speeds as Miles Per Hour (mph), Kilometers Per Hour (kph), or for the nautical types, Knots (kn).
For those who travel by bike, motorcycle, boat, or other means where you find yourself exposed to the elements while in motion, calculate the approximate effective wind chill based your current moving speed (not factoring for actual wind speeds).
Best results are obtained on an iPhone with built in GPS support. Accuracy and reliability on other iOS devices lacking a GPS are not guaranteed.

make sure you know that this is for Iphone or Ipod touch, I got it then realized it wouldn't work with my ipod nano
Higher temps!!!

I live in South Louisiana and temps go way above the apps ability. This app NEEDS to go to at least 100* F. It's only good to use during the winter.

The reason this docent go above 49 degrees is because wind chill is not a factor above that temp. Most people don't know this but at 50 degrees it feels like 50 degrees. There is mo wind chill you would be hard pressed to find a wc calculator that goes higher than 49. This app is great. Exactly what I wanted!
worthless app now

this app use to be great now it is worthless. all it does is say 49 degrees and 3 mph. there is no way to change either and does not give wind chill which is what the app is for. last up grade made it totally worthless. please fix. not even worth the 1 star you have you give it.

I installed this on my iPhone 4S today and it will not allow me to enter the local temp nor the speed. It just does not work.

This app is intuitive and has a very easy to use interface. It's also surprisingly limited. Ambient temperature selection ends at 10c/50f but wind chill is a factor, even up to 27c/80f. Just make the range bigger.
