I think this was a good app. I do wish that you could look up the exact paper you are stuck on. Overall this is a great app and I recommend this app for anyone. ????
Improve 3D graph viewing

It would be really nice if you could type in a 3D function to graph and be able to manipulate the graph with multitouch. WolframAlpha is an amazing product. It’s right up there with IBM Watson and other incredible feats of computer science that I can have such a versatile and useful knowledge resource on my phone. Which makes it that much more shocking that you only get a single view of a 3D graph with whatever range and graph angle that Alpha chooses for you. Make a button to go into a detailed graph viewer. I don’t understand what is stopping Wolfram from implementing this. I hope that they read these and incorporate feedback into the product.
Not just for STEM folk

This elegant computational machine isn’t just for math majors. Its emphasis on organizing and displaying the road to its answers (try checking the inflation-adjusted amount the next time you see a “it only cost $2 in 2000” sort of comparison), and its broad subject coverage, make it a treasure for everyone.

[Review for WolframA] Amazing how far technology has progressed in the last decade (think 2008) IMO, This is an amazing app. I won’t get into why, only because other 5 star reviews have said it better. That being said. It’s obviously not for everyone, but, to give it 1 star if it doesn’t work flawlessly on your AppleWatch? 1 star? (Although I believe the 1 star review speaks more about the person leaving the review than the app itself...spoiled brat growing up?L??L) Anyway, when I think about what this app can do, then what this phone can do, then...well, we don’t need to get into all that. This app flexes the technology available to the layman. (The developers ?might be hybrid-alien-ninjas from the future) L?L

Wolfram's products have always been top-notch and Alpha is no different. From spline functions to history and even corny science jokes, Alpha covers it all. Inexpensive and always useful, this app actually influenced me to stay with Apple products.
