Not worth it

Really really bad

US citizens only?

Ray's ipad

Some of the available data such as current interest rates or credit card rates and house prices etc is ONLY for USA. you do mention 'in the US' BUT you do not explicitly mention that the same is not available for other countries...You should make that clear in you information about what this app is. This is deceptive! Not worth 5$ . Very dissapointing to see this from Woolfram , lost my respect. R.

I paid $5

I paid $5 for this app and the first thing that I try doesn't work. I entered 152 and 15 into the tip calculator and it thought I was talking about 152 people and assumed the bill was 50. If you're going to charge $5 for an app at least have it assume the bill is in dollars and have some sort if menu to choose which. When this is fixed, I'll give 5 stars.

Works pretty well, but needs more college cost data.

OceanEnergy

Overall very good app. "College costs" only provided tuition information for the college I researched. This could become a great app if they continue to build it out.

Wolfram Personal Finance.

Unable to get any Mutual Fund Data to come up. Only Stocks.

Save your 5 bucks

The app is totally buggy: Tips- for bill splitting it returns info about name Tip Interest- despite asking downpayment still calculates without Relocation- do not have major data about BayArea and shows wrong data for Seattle area :(

Not what I expect from wolfram alpha

mattar12

I had high expectations. The ap does work, & gets accurate answers, but it's quite quirky. It's very slow, seems to freeze up initially until the "recommended wolfram alpha apps"load. The calculations don't work unless you specify a currency symbol. An ap like this should allow a user to identify a currency in the ap settings. Bottom line, this app isn't nearly as functional, useful and efficient as wolfram alpha has trained us to expect!

Just go to the website

I thought this tool would have a lot of useful features and be more user friendly than the wolfram alpha website. Nope. #1 - sometimes (such as in Rent vs. Buy) you can put in your data / numbers and it will give you an error telling you nothing. #2 - blegh. The titles of the options / things to check numbers on are all useful looking financial 'things' I'm curious about, but this is much better designed for a professional investor / person who is familiar with nitty-gritty details as opposed to a casual user.
