I like the idea, and I like having an outlet for local news. However, the app frequently doesn't open and the notifications I receive to open the app lead to stories I can't access. I'm sure the folks at WNYT have other things to do, but some improvements here would be nice.

This app runs pretty smoothly and is a good source for news. Sometimes it redirects you to the news website if you click on a link, and it would be smoother if this was built directly into the app. Thanks!

So many typos!!! Sometimes the stories don't even make sense due to all the errors!

App often drops out when you click on a video link. Entire site is poorly designed. I come to the site for news. Why make me click on a tiny ...more news headlines... link to get there. Rest of page populated by large tiles for what should be in a drop down menu. Some should be categories of news. Some are random. Many are never updated and therefore useless. Closings and delays in the summer? When you get to the news, the categories are lame: "State of Corruption" "In-Depth" are useless categories and the same stories are often found in several categories. Some are rarely updated. The most recent story in the State of Corruption category is 6 months old. In-depth may go weeks or months without new stories. How about local, state, national, world, business, education, tech, arts and entertainment? How about adding stories to every category every day? App often drops out when you click on an image with a video link.
