WMHT-FM is your classical companion with peaceful, beautiful, classical music 24 hours a day. The station plays a wide variety of classical styles. Hallmark programs include the live concerts from the community featured on No Ticket Required and WMHT Live. In addition, WMHT’s Bach’s Lunch, and it’s Bach’s Lunch Podcast, are programs that solely feature Baroque and Early Music. Bach’s Lunch airs Monday through Friday 12-1p (ET).

It is an amazing classical music app fed by the NY capital region's public television/radio station and NPR. Plus, it does run in the background, which is a bonus. The only thing I would like would be for the promo msg at the beginning to be gotten rid of.

WMHT is a great public radio station, and an excellent source of classical music. It's nice to have an app that gives me direct access to it. HOWEVER, the interface is terrible. Overly busy, hard to read (especially if you are visually handicapped like me), and VoiceOver support is totally lacking. A great radio station deserves a better app. Redo the interface, and I'd be happy to even pay a buck or two for it.

This lacks two BASIC features that most apps - including public radio apps - have. The first is a sleep timer. The second is an indicator of what song is actually playing. Really no reason to have the app when TuneIn gives you the same bare bones. Disappointing.
