Ummm...you left out Fayette County Schools under the "Closings" section. I'll just use the WLEX app, I guess.
Pop Up's Take Precedence.

I Hate when an otherwise useful app gives in to pop up clutter to the point that the user is forwarded to another site without enjoying the benefit of the original site. Why would I have to click on an ad thinking it will clear off the screen that forces me to the App Store to purchase a game when all I want is the breaking news that I had just been alerted to??? One week more of this stupidity and it's in the delete pile of other sell out apps.
Last update made it terrible
Tired of typing in user names
Since the last update, when I select news from the drop down menu it pops up an advertisement and the news never loads. If it's not fixed pretty soon, I'll probably delete the app.
At least the ads work

Nothing will load but the ad bar across the bottom. Lex18 has a good app!
Best News App in Lexington
Lost 50 pounds
This is now the only TV news app in Lexington that I have on my phone. It is the most user friendly and I like how I can get School a Closings for my kids school straight from the app. I don't like the ads but I understand the station has to make money for it can have the best apps!
Love the TV News at WKYT but not the App

I understand that someone has to pay for the app and it's services, but you can't hardly read a story for all the advertising. You would think WKYT news was an advertising business not a news service with the amount of advertising being more than the news you get from the app. The bad part about leaving a review is that it is obvious that they don't read them. So it's a waste of your time to give them a review, because they obviously don't care what anyone thinks.
