The recent update causes the audio to stop playing after a short time. Very frustrating, I will listen somewhere else until fixed.

I deleted it after about a week mostly because of the stupid ads.
What’s the point of this app?

This app is used by me to listen to this news station when I can’t listen to the radio. It shuts off when the phone goes to sleep, sometimes it loops commercials and doesn’t get back to the broadcast, the online site is asking for more personal information before it will allow you to listen. I don’t know if this is a WJR issue or a Cumulus issue either way if it doesn’t get fixed I’m going to continue to listen to other networks.

This used to be my go-to app EVERY DAY!!! Now it no longer plays in the background, or when my phone goes to sleep. I’m uninstalling it and trying another that promises background play.

I used to really like this app but the recent updates have made it useless. Now they make you register and provide personal information just to listen to radio? I deleted it

I don’t understand why they have more ads then they already have on the radio. Frank will start to introduce someone and an ad overrides him and takes a bit to stop. It’s annoying, I’ll have to find a little radio to listen with? I deleted the app before but thought I would give it another try today -still bad Reading other reviews I will add that they must have fixed the problem of it turning off when phone goes to sleep, currently my phone is asleep and it is still playing on my blucube.

It’s a pathetic excuse for the radio. You’d be better off buying one of those giant wooden radios from the 20’s and carrying it around. The constant frustration of crashes, ads cutting in and failures to load have me looking for podcasts to replace my regular listening schedule. Terrible, just terrible.
Stops playing when phone locks?

Why would the app stop playing when the phone is locked? This is of little use.

Using this app is so infuriating that I just shut it off. This new version automatically closes once the screen locks, steps on ads.

Used to use a lot to listen to WJR. Just deleted the app. You can listen to the station on the tune in radio app with less hassle. Disappointed in wjr for ruining their app.
