I cannot even join a multiplayer server, but I can play single play but I don’t want to play single player because I want to play with my friend.

so basically me and my brother LOVE this game right, well we used to. the update with the new city map ruined it all, now as we attempt to load into a multiplayer lobby or host one, our game crashes. Single player works just fine, but me and him want to play multiplayer. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!
