Cute

This is a very cute exploring rpg with turn based combat and crafting. My complaint is I am on day 11 and still not much is going on, it seems slow to start and I'm starting to get afraid I will be at about the same point by day 100. It's weird you don't get experience in combat. You get experience by training at home and that takes up so much time I am worried to waste all my timetraining and have none left.. Don't get me wrong this is a great game, just a bit confusing as I have never played an rpg with a time limit before

Adorable Game with Great Depth

This game is honestly the most fun I have had with an iOS game to date. The graphics and art style are enough to give you a cavity. The story is cute even if the translation is a bit off. The gameplay makes you think and harkened a bit to SNES era Zelda with more modern trappings. I recommend this to anyone that wants a well developed adventure game at a steal of a price.

Amazing! But one recommendation...

I absolutely adore this game! It's super fun and the storyline is great! However, no matter how fast I go, I can't seem to get very far into it because of the 100 day limit. I think you guys should add a continue story feature at the end so people can keep playing and not have to start over. Other than that this is one of the best games I have ever bought!

Rather self-destructive.

It's a grindy RPG. For a mobile game, it's almost criminally overlooked, despite its flaws, and there are a lot of those. In any case, it's fun. Controls are wonky at first, but you get used to them. I ended up using the same control scheme for the sequel, despite how weird it is. It seems intuitive at first glance, you know, tap the screen, and the protagonist moves there. Hold to keep moving, etc. The isometric view makes it a bit sensitive in some bits, though. Combat is simplistic. At its core, it's just your stats against the enemy's. There are no heals, the physical attack is garbage, (which is understandable, I suppose. Still annoying that it basically invalidates the entire point of the strength stat, though.) and your choice in spells usually comes down to which of your spells does the most damage. Pets are the only way to effectively change your build. Some pets are full combat, and some affect combat in some manner. They're pretty intuitive, all things considered. The translation is almost laughably bad. It does get the point across, but the sheer number of grammatical or spelling errors still hurts. Plot-wise, this game is solid. It has quality world building, character development, and even a selection of endings. Most of which are surprisingly melancholic for a game that usually stays light-hearted. One of the things that peeve me a bit is that the game enforces a time limit of 100 (in-universe) days on the player. This is a grinding game. Sure, the story justifies it (kind of, I don't remember if they gave a reason why the springs shut down. The game just kind of tells you they do after 100 days.) but all the time limit does is punish bad players. A New Game+ kind of deal would help immensely in this issue, but since that's not a thing, my point stands. That's not to say the game is as difficult as I make out, per say. I finished it comfortably within 80 days, most of which was spent bumbling around, lost and confused. The game does give you some serious power boosts as you go through the story. Won't really stop you from getting your butt handed to you on a silver platter, though. At least, not until you get the auto-revive robes. Those are a godsend. Game's good. If you can handle a bit of pressure, and you are interested in heavy grinds, good plot, and good characters, check this game out.
