Your impatience to download the proper version of XCode from official Apple servers and thus installing a stupid malware-infected Chinese version, has put my security at risk!! I always thought of Winzip as a professional company that I could trust with my digital security and safety. Well, no more! If I experience any ill effects from this unethical, unprofessional, immature decision of yours, well, I will hold you responsible! Why didn't you put the thought of your user's security first, before your impatience? Even if you release a "safe" and possibly malware-free version of Winzip in the future. It just doesn't matter, I'm no longer going to put my trust and security in your company and I'll never download/buy another one of your applications again. I'm sensible enough to understand that you had no way of knowing that what you were downloading contained malware exploits in the code. But, I would think out of anyone, a supposedly professional developer would be smart enough to know that you can't trust anything programming-wise from the Chinese, let alone being moronic enough to download code from unofficial, non-Apple sources. That is just reckless and irresponsible with your own and your user's safety and security. The least you could do is apologize in the description or the "What's New" section of the App Store page. It speaks even more volumes about how unprofessional you are by the fact that you didn't do that. To Other Users - Make sure to delete any version of Winzip that you have installed on your devices, it was infected with malware and can put your safety and security at risk. And I would advise not downloading this app again, even if they claim it's now "secure". I'm extremely disappointed in this developer and they would have to go to immense lengths to gain my trust again, if that's even possible.

The app does nothing don't waste you time. It can forward or email but if you try any other feature your promoted to buy the full version. Shame on you!!!

If you're looking for a free app to unzip files look somewhere else. This has no functionality. Why offer a free version if it only requests you to buy the full version to work. Wasted my time.

This is the first and only review I've ever written. What an absolute embarrassment of an App. Nothing is "FREE". Ridiculous. For the sake of all people that have limited data - don't even bother.

Waste of time. Less than 1 star. Zero stars would be a fair rating.

One of the worst free 'apps' I've ever seen. You can't do anything with the free version. Every feature is for the paid version. I don't think you can even call this an app. It's basically a demo of the paid app -that just shows what you can do with the paid version.

Deceptive and Self Promotional

Only a free download promotion for a $4.99 app. This app does not even prove that it can do what it claims it will do. It only self-promotes itself. And from a company I once promoted for desktop users. It should at least show that it contains an "in app" purchase if you want it to do anything; other than just mentioning that the full app, read that functional app, cost $5.00.

Opens only files saved on device without buying PRO version

If you save your file to iCloud or Dropbox or Google drive the free version of Winzip will not open them unless you buy the full version! I would give less stars for their deceptiveness and wasting my time to download this and try it and now deleting it and writing this review!
