2) Set antenna elevation and tighten lock-knob
3) Get to signal meter on receiver screen
4) Connect to 12V power source
5) Disconnect from power source once pointed at correct satellite

Would be more useful if it contained a compass and some visual idea of the elevation. This would help in locating the dish for clear reception.

A bit buggy with drop down menus in IOS8. Can be rectified by restarting app when you allow it to use GPS location.

I just got a winegard g2 for my camper I thought this app would help me find a good spot with out tree interference. Every time I click on the direct tv and then the drop down menu the app freezes. It needs a update I was looking at the last time it was updated it says 2 years ago. I think winegard forgot they created this app.

You would have a better chance of finding a satellite with you phone by throwing it up in the air than using this app. It crashes every time I open it. iPhone 6+
App doesn't work

Apps does not work. After selecting the Dish network the app freezes. The only remedy is to delete the app and not reinstall. Doesn't work at all.
