I am a young 82 years old and love to go canoeing. Weather is a major consideration— especially wind and wind direction. I depend on this program. It is very helpful.

Somethings going on with this app. The other day it was blowing 10-20mph from the north east. Wind finder app said 6 mph out of the west. If something doesn't change I'm canceling my subscription. I primarily use this for fishing. If I can't plan days around this app this is absolutely useless.

The $7.99 version of Windfinder Plus is a gimmick to get you to pay more for the same services available in the Free version. It will NOT even include the Pro subscription which is an additional $4.99 a year and you’ll be prompted to upgrade immediately. The app descriptions in the App store surprisingly fail to mention the differences between the Plus and Pro version and going to the developer’s site also leaves you with the same lack of helpful information. So if you’re really just looking for the Pro features which includes wind alerts, just go with the Free version and then upgrade to Plus. It will save you almost $2 in comparison.

I use this app to decide what kites to take kiteboarding and it has been good in the Bahamas. I use it also to decide whether or not to row in the northeast and it is usually reliable. Pro is okay but usually not as accurate as the main forecast.

This is my “Go To” app for determining all things pertinent to my fishing trips. I got the name of this app from the best Charter Guide here in Pensacola. Been using it almost daily ever since.

When looking at offshore predictions the WindFinder app is always an easy look and remains one of my favorite “Go-To’s” as a piece of the decision making puzzle. Highly recommended—- @CajunOdysea (Insta)

Sorry, but your system is not really that accurate. My experience for about I guess three years is that most of the times your regular Windfinder is much more accurate than the pro so, I do not know which one to follow or to believe !? This is true. How did you know that ? And, why don’t’ you fix it if you know ?
